CNC Plasma Fabricator - 2nd Shift

The CNC Plasma Operator works from production orders, routings, blueprints, and process documentation to appropriately layout, fit, cut and form fabricated materials to create required parts/products. The operator also inspects parts for acceptable tolerances based on documentation, confirms the material in the MRP system, and delivers product to the next internal/external customer.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate CNC Plasma table Read, understand and comprehend basic blueprints and drawings
- Layout, fit, cut, and form materials using support tools such as production orders, standard work, blue prints, and other documents related to the
- Engineering/Customer specification Grinding, de burring, cleaning parts, cutting and removal of scraps
- Accurately enter data into the MRP (e.g. SAP) system and ensure that inventory is accurately stated
- Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders
- Safely operate fork trucks and cranes
What You Need to Succeed
- High School graduate with excellent math and reading / writing ability
- CNC Plasma table experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read a tape measure, operate overhead cranes and other hand/pneumatic tools
