HR Administration and Payroll Team Leader for Poland

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As HR Administration and Payroll Team Leader for Poland, you will coordinate end-to-end delivery of defined portfolio, distribute tasks within the team, manage the teams skills and competences, design and improve processes, report on KPI's and manage external suppliers. In this role you will also personally contribute to the services like delivering payroll preparation, data management, time and absence management and employment contracts, personal files. You will also collaborate on further developing the offering of HR services.

This role is a combination of the tasks related to leading and coordinating the team and hands on tasks for Polish entity (approx. 800 employees).


Your tasks:
  • HR Systems:
    • Own Country HR (“platform”) systems,
    • Utilize technology to drive continuous improvement, digitalization and automation of HR processes.
    • Promote self service solutions for employees and managers.

  • Payroll, Time & Attendance Process, Mobility process:
    • Manage and maintain payroll process and ensure SOX compliance.
    • Manage and maintain T&A processes and system.
    • Manage mobility/international assignments projects with supplier supports.

  • HR Documentation Administration and Management:
    • Design, compliance with law, internal regulations and policies.

  • Compliance:
    • Respond to employee queries promptly and effectively.
    • Ensure legal and audit compliance and alignment with MT Group policies and local Labor Law.
    • Support data governance and data quality initiatives.

  • HR Policies:
    • Drive harmonization of HR policies and procedures.

  • People Management:
    • Directly supervise the team, its tasks and performance.
    • Manage the KPI's and develops organization towards them.
    • Develop required skills and competences of team members (6 employees).

  • Change Management:
    • Drive change management towards embedding service culture and engagement model.

  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify actively opportunities to drive business process improvement.
What You Need to Succeed
  • 10 years of professional experience in HR, and at least 2 years of experience as Team Leader,
  • Experienced in Cooperation with external providers in the area of payroll, benefits, HR administration,
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices in Polandwith strong focus on payroll aspects,
  • Working experience with HR system (eg. Workday, SAP HCM - Organizational Management, Expertis),
  • Working experience with Time and Attendance Systems,
  • Advanced skills in MS Office with strong focus on Excel and Word, SharePoint usage,
  • Very good knowledge of English and Polish (written and spoken),
  • Hands-on experience of delivering service excellence that enhances the client experience,
  • Good communication and influencing skills (gains support and commitment from others; influences the decisions and actions of individuals or groups),
  • Team oriented (shares knowledge with others and supports the development of team members; demonstrates commitment to team objectives),
  • Quality, results and service orientated,
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to lead projects on system improvement.
